Whitewater Rescue Technician – Recreational (WRT-REC)
A two day river rescue course for kayakers, pack rafters and recreational river users.
The Whitewater Rescue Technician – Recreational course is designed for recreational paddlers with existing river experience, to provide you with the necessary skills to perform rescues in whitewater river situations. Whitewater professionals (eg raft guides, safety kayakers) should take the Whitewater Rescue Technician – Professional (WRT-PRO) course.
The courses are adjusted according to the participants’ experience and prerequisites.

Participants
The WRT-REC course is designed for kayak padlers, Pro-rafters, canoeists and general recreation users
The WRT-PRO course is more suitable to professional kayakers and raft guides.
Certification
Rescue 3 International’s certification is valid for 3 years. You can re-certify the course at a reduced price.
Course includes
All technical equipment, manual, whistle, badge and certification.
The course manual will be sent to you by e-mail a week prior to course start. Requires paied course invoice.
What to bring
Personal river equipment, warm clothing, digital course manual, food & drink.
Pre requisites
Experience on minimum class 2+ water.
Basic safety skills, like swimming and use of throw bag.
